Dr Harrington is Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at the Royal Marsden and St George’s Hospitals. He specialises in the management of patients with head and neck, gynaecological and skin cancers. In addition he is the Team Leader in the Targeted Therapy Team in The Institute of Cancer Research in which he is involved in the development of novel translational approaches for the treatment of cancer. He is the principal investigator on a number of clinical trials of small molecules inhibitors and gene therapy.

He trained in Oncology at the Hammersmith and Royal Marsden Hospitals and completed research at the Hammersmith Hospital and at the Mayo Clinic, USA. Dr Harrington is a regular contributor to both clinical and scientific journals and has published more 100 peer-reviewed articles.
