Gregory T. Wolf, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Gregory Wolf, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Professor and Chair of the Department
of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University
of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He received his Bachelor of Science
Degree from the University of Notre Dame and completed medical school
at the University of Michigan. Post-graduate training in otolaryngology
and general surgery was completed at State University of New York,
Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and Georgetown University.
Dr. Wolf completed a two year immunology fellowship at the National
Institutes of Health and following that joined the faculty at the
University of Michigan. He has remained on the faculty for the past
22 years.
Dr. Wolf’s main research interests have been in tumor immunology,
immunotherapy and cell biology. His clinical trial research has
included studies of immunotherapy and chemotherapy regimens. He
received national recognition as study chairman of two large prospective
randomized trials. This clinical research has provided the foundation
for changing the standard therapy for patients with advanced laryngeal
cancers.
Dr. Wolf is a member of most otolaryngology professional societies
and has Board Certification from the ABO and ABFPRS. He is very
active on the lecture circuit and has served as visiting professor
at numerous institutions nationally and internationally. He is a
member of the University of Michigan President’s Club.
Selected honors include: Senior Examiner, American Board of Otolaryngology;
National Advisory Council, NIDCD, NIH; Alpha Omega Alpha; Best Doctors
in America; Honor Award, AAO-HNS. He has published over 160 papers
and two books.
